Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front

The Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front, commonly known by its Spanish acronym FMLN, is a prominent political party in El Salvador. It was founded in 1980 as a coalition of various leftist guerrilla groups that were active during the Salvadoran Civil War, which lasted from 1980 to 1992.
